Our Company
Ferveret was founded in 2021 by Dr. Reza Azizian and Dr. Matteo Bucci, who first met as lab mates at MIT, collaborating on advanced heat transfer research. Their combined paths in academia and the tech industry gave them unique expertise and insights.
With direct experience in the data center space, they witnessed the shortcomings of traditional cooling systems firsthand. The constant noise from air-cooling fans was disruptive, and the excessive energy consumption required to keep servers within safe operating temperatures was alarming. These frustrations highlighted the urgent need for a better solution.
Drawing on their backgrounds in nuclear engineering, they recognized striking parallels between the heat dissipation challenges in nuclear reactors and those in data centers. In particular, their expertise in subcooled boiling - a highly efficient cooling method used in nuclear systems.
This expertise inspired the foundation of Ferveret and the development of a breakthrough cooling technology for modern computing infrastructure.
